The more sunlight an individual is exposed to over a lifetime, increases his or her chances of melanoma, reports the National Cancer Institute. Also based on the study, the Institute also determined that geographical location plays a big part too and one can tie that to lifestyle as well. For example a woman in New Orleans is 32% more likely to get melanoma than a woman in Atlanta!

It is not a question as whether or not to wear sunscreen. WEAR IT!
